longview villa@ LONGBAY resort TORTOLA
hi,
I have just returned from BIRAS CREEK, loved it, and now are looking at next years vacation.I am planning on going to GUANA island for the first part of my trip and then maybe a villa on Tortola.I have looked at LONGVIEW villa at the Long Bay resort and was wondering if anyone has any input on this resort or villa.
Many thanks,
Angie

I've no doubt that the villa on Tortola would be lovely, but I have a feeling once you set foot on Guana you're not going to want to leave to stay in a villa on Tortola. It's an extraordinary experience on Guana, and it's hard to imagine following up with a stay in a villa (unless it's of similar calibre to Katitche Point on Virgin Gorda). I hope you have a wonderful time, regardless of which route you choose.

Long Bay Resort is the largest resort on Tortola - there just aren't many on the island. However, it's not too large. The service we received was great. The resort has wonderful ocean views from all rooms. You won't be disappointed.

I agree with comments on Long Bay Resort so far. I would point out, however, that as fine as the beach is, once out in the surf you will find it to be very rocky.
Were I to consider another option, it would be Frenchman's Cay Resort inasmuch as you receive a 2 story bungalow with full kitchen and a PHENOMENAL view of the Sir Francis Drake Channel.
