Little Help Here Please

Can anyone give me a run down on the Sint Maartin (Dutch Side) Sea Palace. We have a chance to get a place for a week in Feb. but it doesn't have a pool and we're not sure what is nearby, or how the place is in general. Thanks

Sorry but I haven't heard of this resort. You'll get a quicker and more detailed response on www.traveltalkonline.com. Very active board on St. Martin and lots of seasoned SXM'ers.

The Sea Palace is on Front Street in Phillipsburg. Although it is on a beach, the surrounding area is not a resort atmosphere. It is not appealing to me based on it's location. IMHO, I'd look at other places.

Thanks for your help. I let it go hoping for something in the Mullet Bay or Simpson Bay area.

I agree. Frontstreet isn't really a place I'd particularly want to stay. There is a lot of crime there after hours.
rbpugmire,

What type of a place are you looking for? Nightlife? quiet? We have stayed on both sides of the island - there are advantages to both, depending on what you are looking for.
