Leaving for Turks in 9 days. What's the weather like?

Hi,
Anyone just get back from Provo recently? If so, how was the weather? I checked weather.com and weatherunderground.com and both sites are reporting temperatures in the low 80's and RAIN. Is this the case?
Last time I was there in May, temps hovered around mid 80's and the rain never lasted more than 15 minutes.

Thanks,
Katie

We leave in 18...very much looking forward to a Warm & Relaxing vacation!

We where in TCI 2 years ago, last week of April and the weather was perfect...no rain...although a few partly cloudy days.

The biggest mistake people travelling to the islands make is looking at the weather web-sites. Doing so only causes needless worry as they ALWAYS predict rain. If you checked them every day for a year you'd swear the sun never shines in the Caribbean. What you are seeing are references to the ubiquitous tropical rainshower that typically are very localized and rarely last more than a few moments. While there are never any guarantees when it comes to predicting the weather you will most likely have more need for sunblock than you will for an umbrella. Don't worry about the weather - you can control it.

Just returned last week. Had checked the weather also, saw rain, said it couldn't be! As we flew in they were having a storm , just great as it was a bumpy ride in. Rained for about 20 minutes when we arrived then never saw another drop for 7 days...it was hot 91.

That is awesome. We leave in 5 days and can't wait for the hot temps. It has been a lousy (chilly) spring here in NY.
