Atlantis activities

Does anyone know the price for the putting course at Atlantis? Is there a discount for hotel guests?

Can't remember the price, but there was no discount. Everything at Atlantis was a la carte - even the gym. (But not the pools, slides, and tubes - hallelujah! - that was part of the lodging rate.) You could just call them directly to get the current rate.

Why wouldn't you just e-mail the hotel?

No response from the hotel. I was hoping that someone who had been there might have the info on prices.

If you mean the minature golf i think it was $5.00 per person. If you are going to stay at Atlantis it seems odd to worry over this.

I thought this forum was to ask questions of other travelers and get answers about vacation destinations. I'm not sure why you are questioning my reasons for wanting to know this information.

abbekit, sometimes posters just can't resist placing value judgements on other posters questions. The best course is to ignore useless remarks such as mgmargate's.

Tom42: encouraging someone to not waste their time on insignificant details would be considered by many to be valuable info.

Tom: You don't get it and never will,I'll waste no more energy trying to explain it to you.

Maybe many of us agree with Tom. The question was not stupid. Maybe the charge is $5, maybe it's $50, maybe it's $5 but then the hotel charges you $25 more in "fees" on your bill without mentioning it. It certainly seems to happen with everything else at this hotel, if you monitor other posting and other sites. If you ask me, the people arguing that you should just agree to everything and not worry about the price are working for the hotel. I have plenty of money to do whatever I want when I go to Atlantis but that doesn't mean I'm willing to pay any amount they ask or that I'm not interested in whether or not I'm going to get cheated.

Thanks to those of you who defended my right to ask what may seem like an unimportant question. We are staying at Atlantis as a free gift and don't have lots of extra money for activities. I'm just trying to figure out how to best spend our money (and time) during our stay.

Hi there!
Don't know if you are going with kids, but if so, you might want to pack their own snorkeling equipment to splash around with by the man-made beach. Buy it at your local discount sports store for the same price as a rental, and it's cleaner! Also, Murray's Deli had the best meal deals. Breakfast is a small fortune, so try to keep a few goodies in your room. Have fun!
