Aruba in September!
Hello!
Looking to plan a trip to Aruba the first week in September -- should I be worried about rain? Also, any suggestions on hotels/location? Hoping to spend around $200 a night if possible but want to be in close proximity to the beach / other stuff going on.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Aruba is a very arid island so rain isn’t usually a major concern for tourists, even in September. It’s also pretty far south so even though September is Hurricane Season in the Caribbean major storms in that island are pretty rare.

never been to Aruba but it is well known as being an arid island. Palm Beach and Eagle Beach are the two big resort areas. I've done research into Aruba before as we've considered going there on several occasions and $200 may be a little on the low side if you are contemplating one of the beach front resorts. You may want to research vacation packages - booking air and hotel together and see if it comes out less expensive than air/hotel separate.

Helpful, thank you! We are in between all inclusive. I was leaning more towards no because it doesn't look like it's worth what it's included, especially if you'd like to venture out but I could be persuaded if anyone feels like it ends up being the better deal. If not, anyone have restaurant recommendations or must do's on the island?

I have been to Aruba several times in September and October, and the weather is pretty much the same all year round. Warm, windy, and usually with a short rain shower in the afternoon. I would NOT do all-inclusive because the only place that does it (to my knowledge) is the Holiday Inn at the north tip of the island, and it is not worth it. As another poster said, Aruba has GREAT food and it is definitely worth eating out (or grocery shopping to eat in). There is not a whole lot to "do" in Aruba, except beaches, shopping, and casinos. Eagle Beach area is the place to stay.

Riu Aruba is all inclusive. Friends went in February and loved it. Personally, I wouldn't opt for an all inclusive in Aruba but in case someone is interested, it is available.
