3 questions about Radisson

1) Are any of their pools good for actual swimming?
2) Is there a good gym?
3) Do they have ground floor beachfront rooms, or any rooms or suites directly on the beach?
4) Can you recommend the best place to get good rates or a package deal?
Thanks.

Sorry -- Aruba. I posted this question in the Aruba category but should have indicated it anyway.

Yes, you can actually swim in the pool. None of the rooms open directly onto the beach. Their gym was OK. As for package rates we've always found the best deals at http://www.travelunlimited.com

I am considering the Aruba Radisson at Christmastime w/ our 2 teenage children. It is a choice between that and the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral in Cancun. I need to decide today. Anyone offer a suggestion. We heard Cancun weather last Chistmas was not good, but looks like the resort is nicer than Radisson. Thanks.

I hav e stayed at the FA Grand in Cancun. It was a great hotel on a lovely beach.

Having seen the Radisson in Aruba, I would choose the FA.

Many thanks for the tips. Any suggestions for where their best rooms are? (quietest, largest, closest to beach so it's no big deal to go in & out during the day)
