I'm just a few years away from retirement (I hope!) and the question of where to live always comes up. My whole family (with the exception of 1 sister in Calgary) are all in BC, plus we have several friends there. On the other hand, whenever I'm home in BC, I come back appreciating Toronto! We did visit my brother in Vernon last month - if they didn't get snow in the winter, I might even be interested in that area. Prices still seem reasonable. On the other hand, if I'm going to put up with snow (and we're not skiers), maybe we'll stay here in Toronto. Such a dilemma!
