Any recommendations for a hotel within easy walking distance of the Shaw Theaters?

Most of the hotels are within walking distance. Try http://travel.yahoo.com/p-map-482227..._the_lake_on-i and zoom in for detail. Prices range from moderate to very expensive deluxe so a recommendation would depend on your price range. In addition, there are dozens of Bed and Breakfasts also within walking distance. Thanks, I've located them all on a map and read the reviews on Trip Advisor but would like someone's personal recommendation. I am going in August and would be willing to pay up to $350 per night.

And I think the Prince of Wales is closest.

Queen St. Changes its name to Picton, and the Prince of Wales is at the corner where this name change takes place.

Anyway, try Google Maps to learn more.

All of the following are in walking distance...(in order of quality and price)... Prince of Wales, Harbour Inn, Queens Landing, Charles Inn, and Oban Inn... Pillar and post is quite far in relation... maybe 7 to 10 blocks further... rates are high in the summer, but there are specials... good luck
