Websites with directions

Does anyone have any favourite sites for map directions in the US (west coast).
We just know about mapquest.com

I don't go on any trip without using freetrip.com to get milage, routing, time and hotels in my price range. I check the hotels if a HI Express is not in the area we plan on staying over.

Google has pretty cool maps, I have also used Yahoo in addition to mapquest.

go to www.hotsheet.com,

then scroll down to the 'travel' section, then go to the 'map' section, I think there are 6 different mapping services there.

Not free, but I cannot imagine planning a trip without MS Streets/Trips, which is cheap just before the newest version is released. Not much change from one version to the next.

Having the program on your PC allows you to save trips (we update destinations visit after visit) and annotate your maps (with dining, shopping, bus routes, all sorts of things) and save them, along with the directions. You can also customize driving directions every which way.

I've tried all the "free" ones. You get what you pay for.
