St Germain hotel needed -specific area desired

I am looking for hotel suggestion for a hotel near the metro stops Odeon or Mabillion for 2 female friends traveling this March. We want that specific area, or nearby and want spend about 150$ or less a night. Noise doesn't matter, but the more room the better, if possible. Thanks so much!

Move your mouse around over this site - it will bring up Metro Mabillion and Odeon and the hotels directly beside them. Gives the names, addresses, phone numbers and prices of rooms. I have used this site to find almost all hotels I have ever booked in Paris.

The Hotel Delavigne, which is not far from the Odeon, has been highly spoken of on this board, see http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34554042.

The 2006 rate for a room with twin beds is 135€, which puts it just slightly over your price limit (about $160 at current exchange rates).

The hotel’s website is http://www.delavigne-paris-hotel.com/

Right near to Mabillon is a hotel called Hotel Clement.

I never stayed there but it's gotten mostly good reviews on Trip Advisor.

The area is really good as you may know already. Restaurant Aux Charpentiers is close to the hotel.

Hi B,

We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. About 124E dbl or twin w/bkfst

It is about 0.3 km from Mabillon and 0.5 km from Odeon.

I have stayed at the Balcons twice and would stay there again. They have a very good breakfast if you like to pay for breakfast at the hotel - which I prefer. The only issue I have with the Balcons is that there is no air conditioning but that won't be a problem in March. The location is great!

Another endorsement for the Grand Hotel des Balcons. Close to the Luxembourg Gardens, too.

Atlantis Saint Germain, Acacias Saint Germain, and Aramis Saint Germain come to mind, although only the Atlantis is really close to where the OP wants to be.

Hotel du Lys is very close Odeon and St. Michel stations. At 115 e for a double, under your limit. Love this little hotel, although it does not have an elevator but an ancient winding staircase that nevertheless is charming! www.hoteldulys.com
