Niagara Falls - Which Hotel for the View?

Considering the Marriott, Sheraton and Embassy Suites, all seem to be situated directly on the Canadian side of the falls.

Do they all pretty much have the same view? Interested in hearing from anyone who has stayed at any of these hotels. Any other ideas are welcomed.

I haven't stayed at any of those so I can't give an opinion on them, but I have stayed at the hotel connected to the casino (which is probably quite a bit more expensive but check anyway -- just google the casino and look for the hotel link).

Anyway, the reason I'm posting is that wherever you stay, when you book your room, try to get one on a floor just above the falls so you can look down on them. It's a great view!

All are close together along with the Fallsview Casino Resort and the Oakes hotel...just let the price do the talking... you want the 6th floor or higher on the Fallsview side... depending on when you go rates can differ as much as $200/night in season vs off season... have fun

We stayed in a fallsview room at the Embassy Suites and really loved it. We had a view of both Falls and the breakfast that follows the next day is wonderful!

Just returned - spent a a few nights in Sheraton on the Falls - had a beautiful 2 level suite - with a fabulous view of American and Horseshow falls - for $149.00 Cdn!!
Note though - no bar - you have to go out to HardRock or Planet Hollywood if you want a little nightcap.
There is a restaurant on the 13th floor but it's a little fancy - not just a "stop in and have a nosh" type place.

The Marriott Fallsview has spectacular views. I highly recommend getting a fallsview room there, they have huge windows and are just lovely.

Just as a follow-up, we stayed at the Marriott Fallsview and loved it. We were on the 18th floor and had a great view of the Canadian and American falls. The prices are high, but the hotel is top notch. We took a 3 day package which included a daily buffet breakfast and a $150 credit for dinner in the hotel. The food, view and service can't be beat. Dinner for 2 came to $240, the credit came in handy.

Thanks for the suggestions.
