Hi

This forum is intended for talking about travel in Canada. You should contact the US border services with your questions as they will be able to answer them.

Give barbe a break, Shelli! Her question is travel related!

Sorry that I cannot help but maybe somebody else here can.

Yes, but it's related to traveling to the US. If anything it should have been posted on the US forum.

However, this isn't the "which is your favourite <blank>" type of question and really should be answered by official government sources.

It's related to travelling to the US FROM Canada ( Quebec in particular.) The OP is simply asking other Canadians for help while travelling across the border. I don't know why you have such a big problem with that, Shelli. I feel bad for this OP. It seems you have driven her away. I hope she has found the info she was seeking.

In the past, people have posted here about moving to Toronto, about Immigration issues, about airline restrictions, about a million things that could have been "answered by official government sources." Nobody has ever been as rude as you have been to barbefe47, the OP.

My intention was not to be rude but to point the OP to the best resource to answer his/her questions.

I don't have a problem with the OPs question, but this forum is mainly about tourist travel. Many of us are quite familiar with airline baggage restrictions etc. and can be helpful in those situations. However, most of us are not likely to be familiar with the regulations for moving for moving to the US (you've admitted you can't). It doesn't matter if a person is moving from Quebec, Ontario or any other Canadian province or territory. The fact is that the OP is going to have to deal with US customs when moving and that is who I suggested he/she contact.

I also don't think that I've "driven away" the OP since the question was only posted yesterday.
