Montreal and Quebec City with kids

Thinking of visiting Montreal and Quebec City with our tween-age sons this summer. Recommendations on things to do (or not do)? Thoughts on how many days to spend in each location?

Lots of info already posted on this site, under the Destinations menu at the top of this page.

Both cities are great, but different. Quebec City is very unique and picturesque, but considerably smaller than Montreal. Do a day or two more in Montreal.
Things to do with kids in Montreal - Old port (boat rides, I-max, street vendors, biking, rollerblading, etc). Biodome, insectarium, Jean Talon market, bicycling.
Quebec City - changing of the guard, St Lawrence ferry ride, Museum of Civilization.
