how many ways can you get from quebec city to montreal without driving....

i know some of the answer to this is buried in messages after 300 something and i can't find it and the search won't give it up so, i'm asking if anyone has used public transit(trains, boats, buses, etc.) from quebec city to montreal. it is cheaper to leave the rental car there and i know you don't need a car in either city. thanks.

One time I typed in Montreal Quebec City in the search and got lots of different ideas how to get to QC. I don't remember them all and I was just doing research so I don't feel qualified to give you any detail but I would just hate for you to miss all the good info on this board.

One way is by train. Go to viarail.ca for fares and times.

Are walking and running two different methods?

yes, jack, they are two different ways but are not apt to enhance the vaction experience--not to mention having to go everywhere in running clothes. but big points for orignal thinking......
