We only have 1 night to stay in Vancouver before heading back to Southern California. What area of Vancouver would you suggest we stay...and maybe a hotel referral? We'll have our 14 yr. old daughter with us and I think she'll love seeing Stanley Park. She'd also like to have a pool at the hotel. Any suggestions?

I totally agree with Sam. The Westin Bayshore is the only place to stay as far as I'm concerned. The walkway is beautiful - great pool close to everything but a more resort feeling.

Yup. The Bayshore. But -- stray a few blocks East to Denman Street for dinner -- Bayshore is great for breakfast but dull for dinner. Try Parkside, Cafe de Paris, Delilah's or Raincity Grill.
