We spent the weekend at Embassy Suites 2 weeks ago and had a wonderful time. Yes it was a bit pricy, but worth it. It is close walking distance to the Fallsview Casino, Minolta Tower, and the Incline Railway (which brings you to the Table Rock building at the side of the Canadian falls). It is a longer walking distance to the Skylon Tower and Clifton Hill. There is a shuttle bus that is about $12.00 per person. The Keg Restaurant in the hotel is good. Lots of restaurants are close by, including dining in the Casino complex, Copacabana Brazilian restaurant, Wolfgang Puck's, Outback Steakhouse. I heard TGIFridays in the hotel is expensive so we did not try it out.
The room we had was a junior presidential suite (room 1803) with jacuzzi and fireplace. If you want full fallsview of both the Canadian and American falls be sure to specify that when you book. Valet parking is $20.00 per day.
There is an indoor pool on the 9th floor. It is about 3 feet deep everywhere.
Included in your room rate will be a coupon for 1 free drink in the manager's nightly reception. Soft drinks and snacks are free and it runs from 2:00 to 11:00 pm. This is served in the atrium area on the 9th floor. Also included in the nightly fee is a buffet breakfast, served in the Keg fallsview restaurant on the 9th floor. There is bacon, sausages, eggs, cooked to order omelettes, toast, cereral etc. Two complaints, the pre-made scrambled eggs were dry and there were only two fruit options served. Our coupon was for 9:30 to 10:30 time but I think they served from 7:30 to 11:30 am.
The mini-bar prices in the room are expensive. Half the fridge is empty for your own use. There is also a coffee maker, microwave, and safe in the closet for your valuables.
If you check Trip Advisor's site someone recently posted a long review with photos. It pretty much sums up our experience also.
Everyone at the hotel from beginning to end was extremely friendly and helpful. Two suggestions, bring small denomination currency for tips and don't forget your binoculars.
We would definitely go back.

Thank you so much. You have given me great information on the hotel. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post. You have answered every question that I was thinking about the other day. There will be 6 of us going so we were looking at their Deluxe Fallsview room, which they say has a view of both falls.

Cathie - just for future reference. When you post a question, it is only posted on the general category forum such as "Canada", "Europe", etc. If you happen to be searching under a specific topic such as "Ontario", your question will still only go to the "Canada" forum. It can get a little confusing. I also found that out the hard way, which is why people suggest you put as much detail as possible in your question.

Princessjudy, sorry to ask but are you sure you get only one drink at the evening reception? I have never been to an EM Sts that was that cheap? Also, did they have non valet, in and out is sometimes a hassle.

Yes, at the the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls we got a coupon for one alcoholic drink per adult daily at the manager's reception. Soft drinks were unlimited and free. That being said, I see there are other packages available for the hotel where you can get up to 5 free alcoholic drinks per person per day, but obviously the nightly price is higher. It seems to be an all-inclusive package with credits towards lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurants but hardly covers the cost of a true meal.
Parking at the Embassy Suites Niagara is only valet, we went for it. Others who posted reviews in other forums including Trip Advisor chose an alternate which is park temporarily at the nearby fallsview Casino Niagara and get free overnight parking there. I am not sure, but believe it is in an outdoor parking lot at the casino. The Embassy Suites valet parking is in secure parking on floors between lobby level and floor 9. In and out privileges are free, you can call ahead and they will bring your car up. But you may feel oblidged to give a tip to the driver.

Sorry posted too fast, I meant to say park temporarily at the casino and then go inside and register for a free Players Club Card, then you get free overnight parking for the duration of your stay in the falls. Many people seem to prefer this as an alternative to paying high parking fees at neighbouring hotels.
