stay in Sydney
We have our Australian trip almost complete except for the last 4days in Sydney. We have heard some good and bad about some hotels in The Rocks where we would prefer to stay. The Lord Nelson has no elevator which may not be an issue. Some of the nicer places can't guarantee non smoking[a must]. Would really appreciate your suggestions to finish off our vacation on a positive note, Thank You, Dennis and Lynn

hi there-I have a question if anybody could help!?
We are a young married couple who have done plenty of travelling but are going on a trip with our baby (11 months) for the first time. It's going to be quite different (!)- anyway we are going to sydney to start- i actually lived in sydney about 10yrs ago for a year but in the northern beaches so i don't know where to stay this time- we only have three days and my partner wants to see what sydney has to offer but i can't think of the best area- we don't want bondi as i was really disappointed with it the last time i was there
any suggestions would be greatly received! ta

Well, as you're an "old northern beacher", what about Manly? You know the area, easy access to the city via ferry/bus and there are quite a few options for apartments & hotels.
Have a look at www.wotif.com.au to see what's available in various locations.
