Bugger! well there you go then, darts is off the list so I guess we better look deep into our hearts and see if we will let them win this one.

Right Aussies,
This is now up to you.
Get your biggest, guy to accidently lie on Wilkinsons leg at the first opportunity and England will be done for.
They can't score tries so take away Mr Kicker and you will beat them.
Unfortunately all the planes are now full with English rushing to Australia to see the final, now forgive me for being dull but where will they get the tickets from?
Will NZ give them to the English? I think not.
Isn't it a long way to go to watch it in a bar?
Go Aussies !! the Whole of Wales is behind you.

they say the atmosphere around the big screen areas in the city is just fantastic. May be some tickets around - but out of my price range - and I'll be put of town anyway!

The English must have won at something. Aussie cricketeres are touring England next year - perhaps they'll be able to amp their game up a bit!

May I just wish the All Blacks good luck for their play off and may I also say that the New Zealanders I have met since the win by the Wallabies have all been very gracious in defeat and have all expressed a wish that the Wallabies win on Saturday night.
Lets make it a Southern Hemisphere takover - EVERYONE PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AUSSIE CRICKETERS HAVE JUST BEATEN THE INDIANS IN INDIA IN THE TRI-NATION SERIES. So at least when the All Blacks were defeated the Pacific Oceaners still came up on top.

Yay! They've brought in Matt Dunning for the reserves bench. Matt's (quite) a sizable lad, but runs like a hare. Poor Jonny had best keep clear - Matt just runs straight through (or over)!

Oh Dear,
What a tense thrilling game !
We in Wales were behind Australia.

The biggest problem now is this.
The whole of Sydney will be jam packed full of English supporters during the time we stay there. This is because their heads will now be so big that British airways won't be able to fit them through the plane door!!

Thank you Australia for a fantastic World Cup competition !!

Thank you Muck!......sniff, sniff. We had a call last night from some of our rellies in the UK with the expected na na na naaaaaa na na. But lets face it - it was a fantastic game, it could have gone either way, there was not that much difference between the teams in the end and it was probably the absolute best game I have ever watched ( could have been more tries though). The thing Muck is that, as one wit wrote during the week, England knows how to grieve from loss because they have been doing it for so long now and we havn't developed that skill as yet. At least we have the cricket, Rugby League, Swimming, and the 60 or so other sports in the world that the Aussies are World Champions at. I don't think that one game will change the way we feel about ourselves nor the way we feel about the Poms. When you come to think of it - this Aussie side had one of the worst track records of all time, they had had many losses up to the W.C and they just neally got there! There will be another game, another day and next time we won't be that easy to push over!
Bye the way does anyone want to buy a World Cup Teddy Bear?

Great game last night, Congatulations to England, well done and well deserved.
Congratulations to Australia for showing what a world class team they are, when we had all written them off they showed their class and grit and played some great games.

Four years time, France, ... lets do it all again shall we?

Cheers.

Thanks Christa. It's nice to hear someone congratulate our England boys for their outstanding win. Mucky I really think you are a disgrace to your nation. We know that you don't like the English but we don't dislike you. We just feel sorry for you. I live in Wales and it's people like you that cause ill feelings amoung the fans. Why can't you be a man and congratulate us because at the end of the day our boys all played well and won that cup not just Jonny Wilkinson.

oooh Migs..ouch !!
An English person living in Wales. Then you will know that Welsh people don't hate the English, we are very fierce rivals. It's really due to the supersillious attitude of the English Rugby and football association and the prejudice shown by the press against any of the other UK Nations not just Wales.
So I am certainly not a disgrace to my nation, we have a passion to protect ourselves from patronising people like you.
So you feel sorry for us... I rest my case...you are so patronising aren't you !

;-)

HELP MUCKY OR ANYONE ELSE
We received an email joke in the form of a bottle of wine ( Aussie Whine made from sour grapes etc etc ) from our Uk rellies in regard to the win by the English side against Australia.
Now I would like to send something back to them as pertinent if not better but I havn't anything to hand. If anyone knows some really good jokes against the British I would love it please.

I don't know any jokes against the English - apart from their entire cricket team!

We did manage to salvage something Australia won the Davis Cup, for the 28th time, beating the Spaniards in the final, 3-1,last weekend in Melbourne.

Now we know why Mark Phillipousis has those great legs - I've never seen him use them before

Hey Janese,
Jokes on the English only please ! scots Irish & Welsh deserve friendship and kindness and TLC, don't you think. ;-)
How about sending a picture of the sun, we haven't seen much of that this week.
The best part of the Davis cup was the wrong Spanish national anthem being played, apparently that was the anthem for 32 days only...lol
It certainly raised a chuckle here.

Hey Miggs,
One good thing that will come from this will be the 6 Nations. Everyone will be gunning for England and I bet each game will be fantastic.
I would wager a few pennies that England have a tough time.

You're wrong there, Muck, my friend - the best part was when they lifted that cup! (or the top bit of it at least!)
