If you do a search on Quay West..you will find a several comments.
From a previous post of mine...
Message: It is a FABULOUS place! Spacious Living room and dining room, nice furniiture, stereo, vcr, etc. The washer and dryer in our romm. was next to the kitchen with its own separate room. We had the convenience of in suite washer/dryer while having it hidden in its own room.
Very large, exceptionally well furnished. Our suite had granite counters in the kitchen along with 2 fridges (one a mini bar, the other empty for your use).
Get a Harbour view. We had a view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Even while in bed, we had a view of Harbour Bridge.
One of the highlights of our trip was eating dinner outside on our patio while having direct views of the Opera House and HArbour Bridge.

ascott metropolis has a great indoor pool, great views and is across the street from a park. it's footsteps from trendy shopping and eateries, without the whizz of traffic of quay west suites.
i especially loved the regal lobby and entry way- it was an old courthouse or something. the staff were outstanding. it was convenient and stylish.
although still downtown, it was not in the honky tonk tourist area and this felt like a special retreat - sophisticated - and not like a docked cruise ship.
views were superb.
