Quay West Hotel Sydney?
Hi-

We have been looking into the Quay West Hotel Sydney- is it a good place to base ourselves from for four days?

On the map, it seems like it is directly on the highway, across the highway from the Rocks and the Waterfront- is that the case? Is it noisy or inconvenient to be on that side of the highway?

It is a FABULOUS place! Spacious Living room and dining room, nice furniiture, stereo, vcr, etc. The washer and dryoer in our romm. was next to the kitchen with its on separate room. We had the convenience of in suite washer/dryer while having it hidden in its own room.

Very large, exceptionally well furnished. Our suite had granite counters in the kitchen along with 2 fridges (one a ini bar, the other empty for your use).

Get a Harbour view. We had a view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Even while in bed, we had a view of Harbour Bridge.

One of the highlights of our trip was eating dinner outsid on our patio while havnig direct views of the Opera House and HArbout Bridge.

This wa

I would have to second Dick's thoughts on the Quay west. It was an exceptional apartment to stay in - ours was on the 24th or 25th floor, overlooking the Harbor, the Bridge and the Opera House. I've stayed in fine hotels over the years but this place offered a lot!!! Location, location, location; very well done decor; and a restaurant that met expectations. It's not on a highway and is quite convenient to the Rocks and to Circular Quay. We would always agree that it is worth the money if you want the harbor.
this is one of my favorite hotels to put my clients in. I've never had anyone complain about noise. Absolutely wonderful when they take you to your suite; pick up the remote, and VIOLA! There's Sydney Harbour spread out in front of you.

Melodie
Certified Aussie Specialist
