Fiji Honeymoon Resorts
I am trying to plan a honeymoon in Fiji for May of 2005. My fiance' and I really want to stay at a resort with a nice beach and something all inclusive. We would also like to snorkle but we do not dive. Our budget is about $5000. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we should stay? I have looked into Jean Michel Cousteau, Vomo Island Resort, taveuni and taveuni plams. Any comments on these or other places are very appreciated.

When we were in Fijji earlier this year (staying at the 4 star Warwick) we found food and drink very reasonably priced. I sometimes think that the quality of food at the all-inclusives can be a bit suspect. You shd have no difficulty finding a nice hotel well within your budget with planty of money left over for food and drink

Friends stayed at Taveuni. They maintain the place is fantastic as is the top standard of food. However I'm not sure how far your $5000 will go as they said it costs an arm and both legs! Give some thought to the beautiful Blue Lagoon cruise. I will never forget it . It goes to out of the way islands and beaches ( some of which are uninhabited).A few days on an island by yourselves and then the cruise for a few days might suit you?

Hold it Iw4227! Sorry I gave you wrong information. I spoke to my friends again and they said they did stay at Taveuni but they also stayed at another island (Vatulele)and it was that island that cost an arm and two legs.Sorry to give you a fright and hope you have a great honeymoon. APOLOGIES!
