not as much soy as in chinese...ask to have it left out....is it the salt that you cannot have? or what?

plenty of dishes with no soy at all...

Thanks, glad to know. I can't have any thing made from the soy bean...soy sauce etc...causes a bad asthna reaction....not good!

That is why I have liked cruising in SE Asia. It has made eating easier.

But we are doing a land trip in March and I would like to eat something besides plain rice!

Some of the dishes you listed sound wonderful!

my suggestion is that you have your hotel write something out for you in thai that you can give to the waiter to give to the cook about what you expect about the food, re: no soy....
