Maenam Hotel Bangkok

Hello, Ive seen mention of this hotel on the forum and checked the website but I cant tell if there is a ferry stop near the hotel. Can anyone help me on info regarding access from the hotel - is it easy convenient? If it has hotel shuttle is it frequent?
thank you

The hotel does have a ferry which will take you to about 4 or 5 destination like the Shangri-La Hotel, Oriental Hotel, Riverside Shopping Centre etc. I'm not sure how frequent the shuttle is so can't help there. Not a bad hotel, 3 star the most, good Thai massage, great Chinese restaurant and the room rate should be very reasonable.

Hanuman kindly has answered. The reason we put people in the Maenam is the cost of a suite is between $110-125 and they get a great suite for $125 and it has all the required needs, so if you rae into good rooms for value it serves the purpose, we generally try and find places for our customers where they can be 'at the top' as opposed to being just 'one of the crowd', having a Suite does get overall better attention and service.

Thank you both for your answers. We are wanting to stay on the River but dont want to stay in 5 star as Bangkok is a "bonus stop" for us on the way to India and 5 weeks in Nepal. We want the River for the convenience of the water transport and to get out of the business of the city to relax a little before India but not spend a bomb.
Having this in mind Id appreciate your opinion of the options for this as Ive spent hours on the net and its so hard to tell if the cheaper hotels are inconvenient as far as the water transport is from each one. Any advice would be great and as I say were not needing it to be the ultimate as it is just the start of our adventure and we will stop for 2 days on the way home where well spluge on the accommodation then.
thank you!!

on the way home, suggest you stay at the peninsula....

being on the river is a help in getting around, but actually staying any place near a sky train station is equally good, except that you don't get the river to look at which is of great interest to me---lots going on...

We will be in Bangkok in December and are staying at the 5 star Marriott Resort and Spa on the river. We bid for that hotel through Priceline and are paying only $45.00 a night. Have you considered Priceline?
