While Avian flu has not developed the ability to be transmitted from person to person readily, it has already developed resistance (in about 50% of the tested cases) to anti-viral medications.
Fake tamiflu has been confiscated in the US. It came from internet "pharmacy" websites.

Flu strains (not only the Avian flu) are increasingly resistant to Tamiflu. The "Tamiflu" available cheaply over the internet is often fake. The over-use of (real) Tamiflu is what is causing the resistance in flu strains.
