Alas, no... One of these times we need to both be in Bangkok at the same time, Gloria!

Looks like we'll just miss you at both ends - we are in Bangkok for one day each: Feb 16th and Feb 29th.

We'll miss you too... March 14-16

And we'll be in Bangkok.

I would be more than happy to meet Bill for tea at the penn! As long as he comes to Bangkok when I'm there. I'll even promise to rave about the tea!

Gloria alas we will miss you as we will be in BKK in January- but maybe you can set up an account for us at the Oriental (using your card of course!) and we will just charge everything to that account - you know drinks, food, etc.

Thought I'd repost hoping that I'll be able to meet up with some fodorites when I'm in thailand.

I will be back in BKK at the end of my trip. We arrive Bkk from Chiang Mai early Feb 16 and leave on the 20th. Where will you be staying? We will be at Centre Point Silom. I think I remember you will have a phone and we will to. Let me know more...

I'll be at the Oriental. I plan on getting set up with a phone on the 19th so I won't have a number before I leave. I'd love to get together at some point.

Stitchintime-- By the way I will be using Chaiya for a day in Chiang Mai and he is then driving us to Golden Triangle (Anantara) and will stay with us for two days there. I think you used him didn't you?

Gloria--My husband and I just booked flights to the orient for February. We will be in Bangkok starting February 19 and would be interested in meeting with you. If you are interested in meeting, my email is [email protected].

This is a last-minute trip for us, and we are in the process of booking hotels and guides for our stops. I will have more information about our schedule in the near future.
