Face looks wonderful...we are planning on dining at the indian restaurant next saturday.
getting a massage prior to dinner sounds great and then we will check out the bakery after dinner.
did anyone know how far it is from the skytrain? we are staying the first 2 nights at the Asia hotel so it should be easy,

Face is great - just recoed it to someone else. I agree with Bob tho - better for dinner. lighting, decor, etc great then. We tired a great spa last week -www.spa1930.com - 2 mins walk from Chitlom BTS, will drop you by cycle rickshaw to a nearby hotel should you desire. Great ambience like a Thai home.

I've just been here for dinner - we went to the Indian restaurant and it was fantastic - I'm soooo full now. You see we also stopped off at the patisserie which is next to the entrance. I've just had a bit of Diplomat (bread and butter pudding to you and me) for 35 baht.
The beers & drinks are rather pricey but the atmostphere, food and setting is delightful.
I would say it's less than 100 metres up Suk Soi 38. From ThongLor BTS, it'll take 5-10 mins to walk it. It's on the left hand side just past the back entrance of Coliseum Brewery. Also, if it's evening, it won't be that hot to walk it. Plus in the evening you get to see all the night food stalls on soi 38

I had dinner on 10/02/2005 at the indian restaurant. It was fantastic. The drinks are pricey, but you easily can avoid that. They except if you bring your own wine (like most of the resaurants in Thailand). Corkage fee is 500 Baht/bottle.
Enjoy it!
Enjoy it!
