I totally understand the looks of surprise when people hear something unexpected. DH is more fluent than I am so when people talk to us, they usually look at me even when DH is doing most of the talking. Of course, I look more Asian so I should be speaking to them, right? NOT !!!
Glad that T is growing with the rich culture that our kids are fortunate to receive by living here in Japan. We re blessed indeed !
