Bangkok hotel help - Not Riverside

Hi,

I am staying at the Marriott Riverside in Bangkok for 3 nights, then 3 nights at the new Kirimaya (2 hours North in National Park), then 1 night in Bangkok, before 2 nights in Hua Hin.

Since we are staying for 3 nights in the Riverside area, I was looking to see if there was another area recommended.

thanks

The new Kirimaya has an excellent golf course - enjoy!

If you're not interested in the riverside area I would opt for the Intercontinental, Grand Hyatt or Four Seasons area.

anyplace near plenochit and sukhumvit is nice: jw marriott, conrad, 4 seasons, hyatt, sheraton grande..

the marriott resort and spa is almost better however if you are leaving to go to hua hin as you are nearer from there without getting into traffic crossing the bridges...you could also leave bags and packages there from your first stay so you did not have to lug them along up north...we do it successfully all the time...

The Four Seasons...hands down...and the sky train station (Ratchadamri) is right across the street...one stop from the main station at Siam. Plus you can walk to a lot of places for shopping. Happy Travels!

based on your other post, i would return to the marriott so as to get an early morning start from the right side of town and opposite side of the river in the direction you intend to go...

Khao Yai is great. There has been lots about the Kirmaya recently. Where are you staying in Hua Hin ?

We are excited about the Kirimaya - looks nice, and what a great rate during their soft opening.

In Hua Hin, we are staying at the Evanson Hua Hin --> I am going on to Vietnam afterwards for grad school for another week and my husband and I wanted somewhere to relax for a couple days in between. We were initally going to the Six Senses (Evanson) hotel in Nha Trang, but they were booked so we wanted to try this one.
