Senior Discount ???
Has anyone been able to get a "Senior" discount ?? I was trying to purchase tickets for my mom and tried clicking on the Senior box - nothing changed !! Has anyone been able to get this discount ?? I was trying only on Continental.

Continental hasn't offered any senior fares for years, even though that check box has always been there.

Well, technically CO does offer senior discounts, but only on <i>select</i> routes. Checking the box can't hurt on the off chance that ere is a senior fare for the route you want.

I had senior discounts on United IAD-ABQ for last month, $417.00 vs $525.00. In checking United fares IAD-SFO for next April there is no difference in price for seniors.

It looks, they don't automatically give this discount, they have only limited seats on select flights.
