New Aer Lingus Premier Class

Has anyone recently flown on Aer Lingus' updated premier/biz class? Hows the sleep comfort? Food quality? Aer Lingus has a great biz class deal to Europe this summer that I'm interested in, but I don't want to do anything until I hear someone's opinion about it.

Thanks!

Have you read the reviews on www.airlinequality.com? If you need a link, let me know.

I haven't flown them, but the new seats are generic angled flat seats. Opinions about service standards on Aer Lingus are not very high, IME. Also, they do not have these seats on all planes, so it isn't clear that you would be able to count on getting one of the new seats. The short-haul product is poor, and is akin to the European budget airlines, so any connecting itinerary would include a stretch of discomfort. Unless they are much cheaper, or provide the best schedule, I would consider any number of carriers besides Aer Lingus.
