Connecting in Atlanta versus Chicago late October
DH and I are going to Madrid late October. For the longest time, I've had my eye on a Delta flight connecting through Atlanta but now American is less expensive connecting through Chicago. We have never been through Chicago on an international flight and, if at all possible, try to avoid certain airports during certain times of the year because of weather.
Will there be snow in Chicago late October / early November?
Any thoughts on which airport you would choose? The dollar difference is not so significant--@ $75.
Thank you in advance!

I connect through Chicago about 10 times a year, during every season and in the last 3-4 years I had maybe 2 or at worst 3 weather related disruptions. Only one of these was longer than 2-3 hours.
I had more delays in Tampa during the summer when the tropical thunderstorms roll through in afternoons.
Either airport should be fine. I would not pick my flights based on possibility of weather delays, but on the fare and the preferred airline.
Good luck!
