Rooibos Tea

Wife and I came back from Zimbabwe, Botswana and SA. Got addicted to Rooibos Tea and it seems our supply is running a bit low. Anyone have any ideas on how to get more (well besides going on another trip to Africa!). Im in Michigan USA. No rush yet still have 80 bags or so left from Cape Town. Thanks in advance!

You can get Rooibos tea bags in tins from Whole Foods markets. I've never had the real thing but the tea from Whole Foods is very good. i don't know where you are in MI but there are 4 Whole Foods stores in that state, according to their website(http://www.wholefoods.com/stores/list_MI.html). Good luck!

Whole Foods also sells Rooibos teas in bulk, and in this form I think it is exactly like what you get in South Africa. Other health food stores are likely to carry it, and if they don't know the term rooibos, ask about "Red Bush" tea...some of the bagged, boxed varieties use this term.

Rooibos is very good for you-- lots of anti-oxidants, no tannins or caffeine. Drink in good health!

Rooibos tea is sold in just about every supermarket in NYC, and you can definitely find in health food stores.

And while nor normally a tea drinker (unless ill) was introduced to this about 2-years back, and now I'm hooked. Like it best when made as "sun-tea" - for those unfamiliar, lots of tea with hot water and let to steep out in the sun. Great in the summer over ice.

There are many suppliers of SA products in USA and Canada. I do not want to advocate any one supplier over another so I did a search on Google and a few resources and different brands available in the States came up.
