will be in Israel on a tour and want to relax a few days before heading home. Any recommendations besides Eilat? Thank you.

When are you planning to travel? I wouldn't go to the Dead Sea in the summer!

If money is not an object, go to the Carmel Forest hotel and spa - absolutely beautiful and serene. Also, the Mizpe Hayamim (sea views) hotel is amazing. If you are on more of a budget, do a search for b & b's in the North - there are some absolutely lovely and luxurious ones. North is a much better option in the summer.

I definitely second Carmel Forest. Very good treatment, serene environment, wonderful and healthy food. I've also heard good review
about Mitzpe Hayamim.
They're both up north. Carmel Forest
is closer to Haifa. Mitzpe Hayamim
is closer to Rosh Pina so maybe you can fly domestically and make a better connection to Ben Gurion. Both places are 5-star and cost accordingly.

Though there should be more affordable places up north.

Thanks for your help. Anyone know about Dan Acadia or Dan Caeasaera?

We'll be in Israel late May, and just booked a day spa package at Shizen Spa in Herzlia. (Unfortunately with the kiddies, so can't do overnight this time). Got recommendation from a local relative, will let you know how I like it.

Just back from one week in Israel. I quite liked Shizen Spa attched to Daniel Hotel. Our day package for NIS700 included two treatments--a massage and a facial--and a complimentary aromatic oil bath (which we skipped), comes with breakfast AND lunch. My impression was that the place was not as upscale/fancy as Carmel Forest, but the quality of therapists were VERY good. We very much enjoyed the lunch at a small-ish restaurant attached to the spa, which offered oriental-fusion style cuisine.
The hotel is on the beach (which was too windy to swim but good for collecting shells and walking along).
