Feedback on Western Cape Hotel & Spa

I'm planning a trip to South Africa this Sept and I have a lot of Starwood points. Does anyone have feedback on the Western Cape Hotel & Spa or the Sheraton in Cape Town?

How are the accomodations?
Are they located in a fun area for tourists?
etc...

Thanks in advance

I'm using points to stay at the Cape Town Sheraton in about ten days time! Best use of points is the cash/points deal where you use 2000 points and $45 night. Its meant to be very good. I think the other one is also good but its more of a golf resort and apparently Hermanus isn't anything great.

I am also using my starwood points to stay at the starwood Western cape hotel in Hermanus. I do not know much about the hotel so any information would be helpful.

I've certainly HEARD of the Arabella Sheraton Western Cape Hotel and Spa. But I haven't stayed there so I can't provide first hand info.

However, a UK-based business colleague and friend who had travelled to S.A. on business before later holidayed there with his wife. And was impressed enough to return there for his honeymoon. The golf course was a major factor in that decision I think, including during the honeymoon! (As well as the prospect of being upgraded again because of having a lot of Sheraton points.)
