Hi Tom,
I'm revamping the photo site (eventually) so I just put pages with blank code up for now. Not sure when I'll work on it, kind of low priority at the moment.
As for the dead email addy, a couple of people I had been exchanging emails with added my address to their group mailing lists and eventually a couple of spambots plucked out the address. Once I started getting a lot of spam at that address I just cancelled that email account and opened a different one.

Hi Tom,
I had left the images up, I just replaced the original html code with blank code so there are no links to the images.
So I can restore a couple pages of bird images in about 10 seconds by uploading a couple of the original html files ... here are a few bird shots from two of the five Africa trips, just for you my friend (the other links and the mailto won't work):

http://www.hiltonphotography.net/afr...ania/birds.htm
<b>Have you been to Africa since Tanzania in Feb-Mar of 2008?</b>
Nope. That may have been our last trip for a long time.

Bill,
This is Jerry Austin from Fort Worth, Texas. I understand that you have changed your email address. I have been sending you emails for a few months now with no reply. Now I know why. If you wouldn't mind sending me your new email address, I would appreciate it. I like to pick your brain occasionally on camera stuff and Tanzania safaris.
I hope everything is okay with you and Carolyn. Some of your responses left me with the feeling that all is not well. I hope I am wrong. Anyway, take care. It was good to hear from you, albiet second hand. Take care.

Bill H - Wow. The bird photos are spectacular! I am sure this has probably been asked and answered in an earlier thread, but being new here I would not know where to look. What do you shoot, and did you use a flash for any/all of the bird shots or did you just work magic with available light? Thank you for sharing.
