25" Roller bag on SA safari?
We'll be flying from Dulini to Ngala Tented during our safari, and then on to JNB at the end . Are we likely to have problems on the small planes if we take a bag that is soft on the top and sides and hard on the back, e.g., not quite totally soft sided? We have 25" Eagle Creek bags like this:

If it will be an issue, how do you haul your non-wheeled bags through the big airports?
We've used this type of bag in other African and Latin American countries on small planes, but not sure if it'll be an issue on this trip.
Thanks,
Marsha

Even if this bags wasn't good, when it comes to international airports, I've yet to come upon one where there weren't, on deplaning, readily available luggage carts. And, unlike here in the US, NO FEE for their use. And, once in-country, you never have to lift a bag.

As long as you are not trekking a lot
on safari odds are you will be fine.
Usually go with a wheeled soft quality backpack if I will be
self packing trekking in areas where packs
cannot be easily rolled.
onebag.com good packing info luggage options.
Have fun!
