Downtown Fort Worth

The centerpiece of Downtown Fort Worth is Sundance Square, but the entire area is worth exploring. The streets, laid on a grid, are easy to navigate, and the size of the central business district is manageable for visitors willing to walk. On the south side are the Fort Worth Water Gardens, a popular destination, especially during the hot summer months. Northeast of the Convention Center is the Intermodal Transportation Center, which pieces together rail, bus, and car options. The center of Downtown is crowded with office buildings and hotels that surround the charming Sundance Square. Just east of Sundance Square is Bass Performance Hall, which draws touring musicals and shows and houses four resident companies.
