Moe's Tavern

Moe's Crosstown at Rutledge

Moe's Tavern Review

First things first: No, it's not a burrito joint—far from it. Moe's Tavern is decidedly old-school, earning a perennial place on the area's best-burger list. The big, half-pound, Angus beef chuck patties are cooked to order. And they're not even the best things on the menu. Give it up for Moe's BLT, containing a sizable disc of mozzarella cheese, fried tomato, and, of course, plenty of bacon. Visit the original location on Rutledge Avenue near Hampton Park, or the newer, downtown installation at 5 Cumberland Street. The former is preferable, as much for its nostalgic charm as its heady selection of beers.
