McMenamins Grand Lodge Review

On 13 acres of pastoral countryside, this converted Masonic rest home has accommodations that run from bunk-bed rooms to a three-room fireplace suite. Its sturdy 1922 brick buildings also include pubs that serve several McMenamins draft beers. Rooms are furnished with period antiques such as oak nightstands and porcelain sinks. In the Compass Room Theater, feature films are screened nightly; kids accompanied by a guardian are permitted at the early show. Often, there's live music, too.
