Central House Bar and Grille Review

At the Crown & Anchor, Central House serves commendable contemporary American fare, such as halibut cassoulet with white beans, chorizo, and chard, and pan-seared scallops with celery root and cider risotto. Several lighter options are offered, too, including three kinds of mac-and-cheese. For breakfast, you might try the lobster Benedict or French toast topped with Vermont syrup, sweet butter, and powdered sugar. Apart from the good food, this is one of the best venues in town for socializing and observing the assorted merrymakers who frequent the resort's many bars.

    Central House Bar and Grille Review

    It's all about location, location, location..... There food is good, standard offerings that are perhaps a notch above what you would expect from a bar and grille. The Cod and lobster cakes are generous and quite yummy, The Clam chowder has an authentic flavor that reminds me of the long gone Mildred's Chowder House in Hyannis. Burgers are perfect and the fries rock. Wait staff is on it and looking for a good tip!
