Atlantic House, aka A-House, is the grandfather of the gay nightlife scene. With a dance club and two bars, there's something for everyone here.

The Tea Dance at the Boatslip is a real Provincetown tradition. From early May through early November, the music starts at 4 pm, and the crowds (mostly men) gather around the pool to start the night dancing, drinking, and merrymaking until 7 pm. The music and cover charge vary (there is always a cover), but a real favorite is the Solid Gold Tea, spinning dance classics from the 1970s and '80s. Located on Commercial Street, the Buoy Bar and Patio is a great place to relax post-beach or pre-dinner and the Beach Club has a pool and sundeck perfect for drinks and relaxation. 

Boasting four bars (including a raw bar), this is a rollicking year-round local hangout, drawing a young crowd to the bar side and a mixed crowd of locals to the restaurant. There's always something happening at the Squire—live music, trivia contests, DJs, pool tournaments, you-name-it.

Fish tanks illuminate this friendly bar (with a pub menu featuring excellent wings), with live music on most evenings. There's also a midweek trivia night.

Part of the Crown & Anchor complex of entertainment options, the Paramount is the hotel's main nightlife venue, offering poolside dancing to skilled DJs—including many names from the top international dance scene—on many nights. It's also host to cabaret performances and live theater. Cover charges vary.
