Known as the Church of the Sea Captains, the handsome First Parish Church, with Gothic windows and a capped bell tower, is full of pews marked with the names of famous Brewster seamen. Out back is an old graveyard where militiamen, clergy, farmers, and sea captains rest side by side. The church is the site of a summer musical program, which includes the ever-popular Tanglewood marionette show, Tuesday through Thursday mornings at 9:30.
