Fodor's Review:

These two private cottages set on a 10-acre working ranch are one of the best deals going on the west side of the island. Five miles from the airport and from Kailua-Kona, the cottages afford total privacy, with a few more amenities than a vacation house or condo. Owners Mark and Amy drop off a welcome basket with breakfast goodies your first day, there's a washer and dryer in each unit, an outdoor pool and hot tub, great ocean views from your private deck, and the ranch is like a little petting zoo with horses, goats, and chickens throughout. Each cottage is stocked with a library of books and videos, various beach toys, backpacks, coolers, beach towels, binoculars, robes, hair dryers, and even snorkeling equipment. Pros: very private, deck with ocean views. Cons: five-night minimum stay, not within walking distance of stores or restaurants, dated decor.
