This tiny traditional trattoria serves solid, family-style Italian food and great pizzas at very good prices. The atmosphere is the same you'll find at hundreds of Italian restaurants in the U.S.—the tablecloths are checkered, the candles are in Chianti bottles, there's spaghetti on the menu, and it always feels a little hot and greasy inside. That said, you can't beat the location on Alii Drive in downtown Kailua-Kona, right across the street from the ocean.

We enjoyed this place. The food was good and staff was top notch. A great place for wine. The owner sat and chatted with us just like we were family.

I'm pretty picky about my pizza and I was impressed! Friendly, accomodating staff.
