Pueblo Bike Trail System. The city's extensive network of bike trails loops around the city, following the Arkansas River for part of the way before heading out to the reservoir. Lake Pueblo State Park. There's excellent camping and fishing at Lake Pueblo State Park, as well as many other outdoor activities. At this marina in Lake Pueblo State Park, you can rent eight-passenger pontoon boats for $165 per half-day. Walking Stick Golf Course. Nature & Raptor Center of Pueblo. You can bicycle, hike, and canoe along the 35 miles in the river trail system that follows the Arkansas River. For more information, call the Nature & Raptor Center of Pueblo. San Isabel National Forest. You can hike in relative solitude on many trails threading the San Isabel National Forest, 20 miles southwest of Pueblo.
