Via Sinagoga (Synagogue Street)

Via Sinagoga (Synagogue Street) Review

A Jewish community flourished here in medieval times, and on Via Sinagoga two of the four synagogues still stand. Scolanova and Santa Anna, both built in the 13th century, are now churches; the latter still bears a Hebrew inscription and houses a museum of Trani's Jewish history (0883/021345).
