Weindorf Review

Just off the Pfaffendorf Bridge, which marks the beginning of the Old Town, and between the modern blocks of the Rhein-Mosel-Halle and the Hotel Mercure, is the Weindorf, a wine "village" constructed for a mammoth exhibition of German wines in 1925. It's now a restaurant. Running along the riverbank past the Weindorf is a 10-km (6-mi) promenade, the Rheinanlagen (Rhine Gardens).
