PK's Jungle Village Review

This backpacker's haven attracts active, youthful travelers who often settle in for multiday stays. The Jungle Bar, open daily noon-midnight, doubles as the local pub and meeting place, and serves three inexpensive meals daily. Sleeping configurations vary: choose from seven-bed dorms, cabins sleeping up to four (A$95-A$145 per cabin, per night), and camping at unpowered sites (A$25 per night, 2-person tent). A wide range of tours and activities, including water sports, can be booked on-site; right next door, you'll find a pharmacy, supermarket, ATM, and postbox.

    Hotel Details

  • 19 cabins, 8 with bath; 14 dorm rooms.
  • Credit cards accepted.
