Local growers and artisans gather in Port Douglas's waterfront park every Sunday morning to sell fresh tropical produce and gourmet goodies, arts and crafts, handmade garments, precious-stone jewelry, books, and souvenirs. The atmosphere is relaxed, the crowd is colorful, and there's plenty of variety. If you're not around on the weekend, markets are also held at the Marina on Wednesday—cruise ship day—from 11 am to 5 pm.

The market is covered, offering a pleasant respite from the sun. Customers can park free for two hours on Friday and weekends in the car park above Rusty's on Sheridan Street.
