Which is best route--MCO to Dania Beach?
We fly into MCO (Orlando) on April 10, 2010, Saturday. Will pick up rental car. Driving to Courtyard by Marriott Airport & Cruise Port Hotel, 400 Gulf Stream Way, Dania Beach, 33004. Given 2 options on goggle maps - 528 to I95, or take the Turnpike = same # of miles, & same travel time.
Any recommendations as to which route would be best. Does Saturday travel make I95 traffic less or more (shopping/tourists)?
Maybe one has more construction than the other?
Thanks, Julie

Follow the signs at the airport that direct you to State Road 419 (toll road) southbound toward the Turnpike. Then take the Turnpike south (toward Miami). Perhaps the south exit at the airport to SR 417 may say Walt Disney World. That is O.K. too. You are going in the same direction and just need to exit at the Turnpike.
Don't even think of taking I-95 as it is way out of your way and will have more traffic congestion as you get to South Florida. You may even want to ask the SR 419 tool booth attendant for a free map of the Central Florida expressway system.

Sorry Julie, I just noticed a typo that might confuse you. Disregard the one reference to SR 419. It should have read SR 417 in both cases.
